SPCA Seberang Perai is badly in need of a larger and permanent premise in order to carry on its noble cause on a bigger scale. To this, the society has planned a singing concert to be held on 26.11.11 (7.30pm) at the function hall of the Moral Uplifting Society at Taman Kuari, Bukit Mertajam. Tickets for concert is selling at RM20 & RM50. Those interested to purchase the tickets and support the event may contact Mdm. Tan at 012-5523447.

Mr. Cheung is currently fostering a mama dog with her 7puppies that she had recently given birth to. Mr. Cheung's neighbour was about to call the council to have the mama and pups removed permanently before Mr. Cheung decide to take them in temporary in hope to save their lives. There are total 4 males and 3 females. We are seeking for adopters to come forward to adopt the puppies there after which the mama dog will be taken for spaying. The puppies are not ready to be separated from their mama ...

[Appeal from Beatrice] The squatters at Mt Erskine hokkien cemetery have been served eviction order by the land owner. The deadline is 1 month's time. There are more than 20 adult dogs mostly all with skin disease. The 1st photo is a litter of 1 month old puppies 2 male & 3 female. 2nd photo is a young adult dog which looks rather healthy and disease free that may be adoptable. The squatters are saying they will be abandoning the un-adopted dogs at Mt Erskine market when the time comes for them...

Someone dumped these 2 pups at Greenlane area, letting them wonder around the road dangerously. Both pups (1 male & 1 female) are around 2 months old, believed to be siblings. The male pup is smart enough to go into the toilet to do his business without being train. If you are interested to adopt them, please contact Sue at 012-4902333.

[Appeal from MDDB & MCCP Northern] This female puppy was found abandoned at Tanjung Bungah market. Some MPPP workers had witnessed one person dumping a box of pups at the market. 2 were later crushed dead on the spot by passer cars.
Again, we want to stress here on the importance of "SPAY & NEUTER". Stop resorting to "animals dumping" and indirectly turning yourselves into MURDERERS! - Save Lives, Spay & Neuter.

From MDDB Nothern's Wall: [Warning] An ADUN from Balik Pulau has lodged a report to MPPP about strays' problem in the area and requested for MPPP to take immediate action. A shooting spree might take place soon. We do not want another case similar to the one in Batu Maung happened again. To all pet owners and feeders, please keep the animals under your care safe.
