HAPPY ENDINGS
Sally just turned four and her proud owner, Ms Lovisa sent us these lovely pictures.
Sally was adopted in August 2012 and has been with Ms Lovisa for 3.5 years - 2 years in Singapore and 1.5 years in Sweden!
Sally is currently enjoying the great outdoors, her long walks by the ocean, playing in the snow and relaxing by the garden.

APPEAL FOR INFORMATION
On 21st March, around midnight, a black cat was allegedly abandoned at the void deck of Blk 668D Jurong West Street 64, near a ground floor unit.
We are seeking any information that will help identity the man and woman in the video clip, and to assist with the investigations. They were seen carrying two large luggage bags.
The cat is currently being cared at our shelter.

DOG RESCUED FROM DEEP DRAIN
Last week, we attended to call informing us of a dog which had fallen into a one metre deep drain at Block 25, Sin Ming Road.
Our animal rescue officer, Yao Huang who attended to the rescue, climbed down into the drain and carried the dog out, with help from a passerby.

A caller alerted us to a dog that was hit and injured by a vehicle at Woodlands Avenue 10 on 24 February 2016.
Our rescue officer attended to the call and brought her back to SPCA.

WHY I SHOULD NOT BREED MY CATS?
There are too many kittens being born and ending up in shelters . Before you even consider breeding your cats, think about this.
At any one time, one male and one female can be responsible for producing four to eight kittens in a litter. Theoretically, in three years, those two cats can be responsible for 20,000 new lives as their off-springs will also grow up and reproduce. There are already so many kittens looking for homes.
