WHY ANIMALS DO NOT MAKE GOOD GIFTS
On Wednesday, 17 February 2016, our Inspector responded to a case of a kitten restrained on a leash, at the back of a house, for several days.
The informant observed that the kitten was tied up and that there was insufficient shelter from the sun and the rain.
When questioned, the owner of the kitten admitted to restraining her to prevent the furniture from being scratched, to keep the kitten away from the children as well as preventing her from escaping. I...

We are delighted to announce that our longest stay resident, Ida, was adopted on Saturday, 6 February 2016.

HAPPY EVER AFTER - BAMBINO
Sweet and well natured Bambino was adopted on 31 January 2016.

Bambino was rescued in March 2015 after having fallen from a height at a block of flats in Henderson Road. The impact of the fall severely injured his jaw and SPCA provided the much required veterinary care and treatment. Bambino was then put up for adoption in mid...
