We thank everyone who have been supportive of Suzzie and most importantly, the vet team at ARVC for fighting on with her, despite all the odds.

If your going vegan and buying cruelty free product plans doesn't seem to always stick, here is one thing we highly recommend being pretty confident that you can keep!
There are roads everywhere in Singapore and while we travel on wheels for transport, the wildlife, the strays and lost animals do not have the luxury of such machines!!!
However they do still need to cross the road from time to time. Let us be more mindful and share this awareness.
BATS! - Brakes, Alert, Tolerance, Slow down =...

New Works In Progress 29th Apr 2014, by Animal Concerns Research & Education Society (ACRES)
Yesterday, a group of volunteers from DB Schenker Singapore came to ACRES to help us construct a shed for our snake shed. The ACRES sanctuary has allowed many of our animals like our Indian star tortoises from the wildlife trade to live in a more natural environment. It has also given us an opportunity to educate visitors about the animals and the terrible illegal wildlife trade. As part of those continuing efforts, we are now constructing a shed where we can house our snakes. It is still work in...

It is cruel to release animals into the wild. Why?
Often, animals are released into the wrong habitat, causing them to die a painful death. For example, freshwater fishes are released into the sea. Or marine fishes released into the reservoir. Fresh...
