I don't like to keep people in suspense, so I always start from the end - Horsey's amputation went very well and Lydia is taking Hosey home now, for the month-long fostering.Phew!!Now...the full story....Lydia and I were at the clinic at 10am sharp, waiting for Horsey to arrive. Didi is a stray dog infected with "cauliflower" growth. Her cancerous growth will worsen (like shown in photo below) if left untreated.Didi is currently being treated at Life Vet, Penang Island. Cat With Diaphragmatic Hernia (updates) 28th Apr 2011, by AnimalCare
This is the X-Ray of the cat with diaphragmatic hernia brought in by Mrs Goh. The vet suspects the liver has gone into the chest cavity. Mrs Goh has decided not to proceed with the high-risk operation, but instead, take the cat back and look after her. The X-Ray and bloodwork (the cat is clear from FeLV and FIV) are sponsored from our funds. She'll have to be prevented from jumping and knocking into any surfaces.The cat seems to be okay now.

A few people came by our booth at the petfinder event and asked why our website is "myanimalcare" and not just "animalcare".Well, that's because I could not purchase the domain name "animalcare".
