BEST FRIENDS - ADOPTED TOGETHER!.. This is Makork - left (now Flo) & Zossimo (now Billy) perfectly content in their new UK home. This pair were recently adopted by Frances & her family & have settled in beautifully to their new home as you can see! Makork was a long term resident at Soi Dog who used to spend her days hiding under a sala. Zossimo was rescued from the dog meat trade.

This is a message from DraGGie to those who said he should be put to sleep because he cannot walk and is always smearing his poo and pee everywhere. Although his hind legs still cannot support his bodyweight without help, he can at least lift them up which means the muscles are coming back to life again.

Gigia was found at Patong Beach by a restaurant owner. A man was apparently hitting her with a piece of wood & threatening to kill her.

Freshly Steamed Liver For Baggy’s Supper And Breakfast

Yesterday wasn’t exactly a good day for Baggy. I could see she was feeling rather down after the trip to the vet’s and she spent the day indoors with Uncle Bobby after coming home.
I don’t quite blame her because I too was feeling rather low.
We’re totally relying on instinct now to handle Baggy’s case because there isn’t much that conventional medicine can offer.

Many thanks to Pfizer Thailand for donating urgent vaccines for the treatment of rescued dogs held at the Khemmerat and Nakhon Phanom shelters. Pfizer has agreed to donate 1,000 combi and 1,000 rabies vaccinations for Soi Dog’s sterilization programs this week and next at Nakhom Phanom and Khemmarat.
Soi Dog has also purchased from Pfizer another 1,500 combi and 1,000 rabies vaccines in total 4,500 vaccines.

DOGS RESCUED FROM MEAT TRADE ARRIVE IN PHUKET! Today the first five of 25 dogs recently rescued from the meat trade & destined for new homes in the UK, arrived at the Soi Dog shelter in Phuket. These dogs need to spend 3 months in Phuket before they travel to the UK & will be accommodated in 2 new runs which have recently been completed. In life, there are ups and downs, and today happened to be not such a good day for Baggy.
Baggy refused her lunch today, and had to be hand-fed. She looked quite lethargic after the visit to the vet’s.

Later, Maslinda dropped in to visit Baggy, followed by Mr Teh. While Baggy was adopted by Andy Lew for those few months, she was particularly close to Mr Teh.
