Judging from the photos, she explained that the infection could be caused during surgery (such as an immune response to surgical materials) or post-surgery due to the cat licking/biting the wound or lack of hygiene in the environment. Soi Dog Australia wants to say a huge thank you to everyone who came and supported our Hanako Fundraiser last night. We had an incredible time and raised over $42,000. A special thank you to Phillip and Trix Wollen who donated $20,000 on the night. We will post some pictures later.

Her human is unable to keep her anymore as her parents want her to concentrate on her studies and she will be moving back to KL soon. Yesterday in Jalan Bagan Jermal Penang I saw 3 dogs chained and dragged behind a fast moving lorry.. Many motorist were sounding their horn to the lorryman to stop.. The fearful dogs have apparently jumped out of the lorry back cabin without the driver notice and were hanging with their upper body up in the air and hind legs dragged on the tar road..

RAINY DAY TREATS WITH TOBY & COCO!
It's the rainy season here in Phuket, so sometimes the dogs have to spend more time in their runs. This is the ideal opportunity to share some treats & have a few cuddles. Volunteer "Chris" made 2 little dogs very happy this week! Toby & Coco are soon flying to the UK to their new mum "Amanda" who's anxiously awaiting their arrival. Eric was adopted during the June adoption drive which was held at our shelter. He was adopted into the loving family of Chris Tay. We went to their house to check on Eric as according to Chris, he has been biting their shoes! When we got there, Eric was very alert and barked at us. He was indeed a good guard dog.
