Kwanjit’s Family At PAWS (from Dr Veeranoot Nissapatorn)

Kwanjit was pregnant was first rescued by Dr Veeranoot in Feb 2011, from Section 17, PJ. The good doctor provided Kwanjit a safe place to deliver her 6 kittens and also provided a loving home for all of them. But soon, Dr Veeranoot had to move to an apartment and the neighbours were not pleased with her having cats.
We have helped publicised Kwanjit’s kittens for adoption many times, but as luck would have it, they could not find homes. Dr Veeranoot even surrendered them to a certain shelt...

Vaccination Subsidy For 7 Rescued Dogs (Lai Mei Kueen’s)

We have subsidised RM140 for the first vaccinations of these 7 dogs. Mei Kueen has also applied for help for her other cases. We will help as long as sufficient information is provided for each case. However, Mei Kueen has yet to revert to us on the blind dog so we are still waiting for more information on that.

As many of you know Soi Dog has launched the Trade of Shame campaign to bring to an end, once and for all to the inhumane and barbaric dog meat trade.
The campaign has gone well. Since the campaigns start in August 2011 more arrests of smugglers have been made than in the preceding 15 years! BUT, this has presented another enormous challenge, how to care for the literally thousands of dogs recovered during these arrests. Accenture Eco Agents to donate to SPCA Selangor!
JULY 2012 - We would like to express our gratitude to Accenture for their generosity and support towards SPCA Selangor! For the second year running, they organized the Accenture Eco Agents Donation Drive for several animal welfare NGOs. Their staff donated a total of RM 11, 447 in support of one of the main SPCA key pillars - the SPCA Animal Shelter & Adoption Centre. The funds will be used to feed the many dogs and cats in our shelter.
