Soi Dog Bangkok Sterilization #9 at Leab Klong Song Soi 30 Bangkok is home to over 300,000 street dogs and cats this being the primary reason why Soi Dog's focus here is on mobile sterilization clinics. Sterilization has been scientifically proven by the Humane Society International and others to be the ONLY effective (and humane) method of population control. Here are some pictures from our 9th mobile clinic in Bangkok where a total of 45 cats have been spayed yesterday (17 June)

IT'S TIME "THAO BOW" FOUND A REAL HOME.
Thao Bow is 6 years old & she's spent 5 of those years here at the Soi Dog shelter in Phuket. Thao Bow likes nothing more than to be taken on a walk around the shelter grounds & given some special attention. She's gentle, loving & we feel would make a wonderful companion.
Thao Bow shares a run with 15 other dogs & even though she's fairly large, she can be a little scared of the other dogs in her run & tends to stay up the back....

Second Chance was lucky to have a chance to take part in the Pet World Exhibition Fair in Mid Valley. Together with many other dog rescue groups (including HOPE who came all the way from Johor), we sell merchandise to raise fund to feed our dogs. Bobby Starts Having Old-Age Seizures

On Friday morning, Bobby went into a seizure at 5.30am. It lasted quite long and he was salivating excessively. After the seizure, he was totally disoriented and kept turning around in circles for almost two hours. The only way to stop him was to corner him, put boxes around him, but still, he kept turning and could not stop. He even struggled when he was held down. He only settled down after 2 hours.

Prospero is 6 1/2 years old. She arrived at the shelter when she was just 4 weeks old & has been here ever since!... It's her turn to find a new home & experience a life she's never known before.
