this morning another 155 pets registered for neutering, making a total of 320!! 6 cats and 2 pups adopted today too! Thanks DBKU for sponsoring the neutering program! We really need to get the Klinik Kembiri (neutering clinic) going by the 3 Councils!!

From Kedah To Puchong: Blackey, The Sporo-Cat (Sha’s)

Sha (Wan Rozima Mior Ahmed Shahimi) brought Blackey, her sporo-cat, down from Kedah to Puchong last Thursday to continue treatment at the vet’s over here.
The vet in Kedah had told Sha there isn’t much he could do anymore, so without wasting any time, Sha discussed it with us, and we advised her to let the vet in Puchong treat Blackey and give her a chance to recover.
Over in Kedah, there was also a time lapse where Blackey was taken off the medication as per the vet’s treatmen...

Just a quick note to tell you we just arrived home a few mins ago, and Ziti arrived safely.
There were no issues with customs/immigration, and all the paper work I had taken helped greatly.
Ziti is a darling angel, and we had cuddles as soon as she arrived. She was wagging her tail at me, and is still wagging it!
She's all sluggled up on her new fluffy bed, with a warm blanket and food and water, and has fallen fast aslee...

Dog for Adoption
Her name is Polly. She is very, very shy. A little timid till she gets to know you. Small-medium sized, short haired. Easy to take care of. Not a fussy eater. Gets along fine with other dogs and cats. She is about 1 year old.

Whisper, Former Rescued Stud, Now For Adoption (Bernice Chee’s)

Bernice and Donovan will be migrating soon, and they are taking 3 (out of 4) of their pet cats along. The reason Whisper cannot be taken is that he cannot travel; he gets all stressed and starts choking, as though he cannot breathe, and he pees and poos in the carrier, even in a short car trip to the vet’s. Travelling by air would be out of the question for Whisper. Hence, Bernice is looking for a good home for him.

Medical Subsidy For Rescued Cat’s Surgery (Nur Zulianas Shazyanty’s)

We received this appeal this evening and have pledged to subsidise a maximum of 50% of the cost up to a maximum amount of RM500. I have also advised Nur Zulianas that she could apply to SCRATCH and PetFinder.my and if two funds assist, she may be able to get a maximum of 60% subsidy (subject to a maximum of RM1000), jointly from two funds.
In accordance with our Multiple Fund Policy (http://myanimalcare.org/subsidy/):

Tabs Plays With Diva!

This evening, Mary brought Diva for a visit.
As you know, Diva was returned by her adopter because the adopter’s cat bullied Diva. Yesterday, we publicised Diva for re-adoption and as of last night, one of our readers has already “booked” Diva and Mary will be bringing Diva to her house tomorrow morning. We hope all goes well.

Nina who came to Soi Dog a few months ago totally hairless was taken to airport this evening. Will be picked up by SDF/SCAD Bangkok dog center manager Matt at domestic cargo and taken straight to international departures where she will meet up with adopter Marianne and fly to Helsinki tonight. Is now a beautiful dog in every sense.
