We are delighted to announce that Cruelty Free International will be launching our first global pledge campaign with The Body Shop. (ACRES is the Asian partner of Cruelty Free International).

Connie James has stepped forward to help Pak Din with his roof and now, fencing.
From Connie:
Tomorrow we will be visiting Pak Din’s.
According to Chew, Pak Din dogs chewed a hole to the fence and now running loose outside the compound. The neighbors are not happy about it; infact, Majlis came the other day treatening to harm the dogs. Pak Din is very worried about it.
We will see how to reinforce the fence; at the same time will repair the roof too.

Bunny The Dogherd

I didn’t manage to take a video of this, but it was just so, so cute…
Bobby was banging his head on the grille, trying to get out and the cats didn’t quite know what to do.
Until, Bunny came to the rescue.
He went in front of Bobby, placed his ample-sized body between Bobby and the grille so that Bobby would bang into his body instead and then, he butted Bobby with his head until Bobby backed away from the grille…to safety.

Pups In Need Of Home : Winnie And Vincci

Winnie and Vincci were one month old when they were found in the middle of a road in Cheras. A passerby took pity and rescued them when their mother was run over by a car. They were cared for by him in his apartment for few nights before sending to our shelter. Aren’t their floppy ears just adorable? And what about their soulful eyes, pleading you to take them home with you… Please do write to us if you like to adopt them.

ZITI DEPARTS FOR CANADA!... Long term resident "Ziti" is on her way to Canada. Here she is departing Soi Dog today, saying her goodbyes to Dr Su, Reggie & John. She's flying KLM to Vancouver via Amsterdam to her doting new mum "Candace" who's eagerly awaiting Ziti's arrival. Good luck Ziti, we'll miss you sweetheart!

Diva’s adoption didn’t work out because she got bullied by the adopter’s cat. So, the adopter will be returning her tomorrow.

Diva was rescued about a month ago at the divider on the 4-laned Old Klang Road. She is a survivor and is extremely perky and adorable.

Casa’s 3rd Batch Food Bank For Meiji’s Dogs

This would be the 8th cat we have subsidised for Kirstine and her father, David Tan. It looks very similar to the 7th cat – Kirstine says this 8th cat has given birth so many times that the 7th cat must be her daughter. And apparently, there are so many stray cats in neighbourhood, she says it’s lucky that we insist on ear-notching or she won’t even remember which cat has already been spayed.
