3 weeks ago i picked up a kitten from under a abandoned car near my workplace. As it was raining “cats & dogs” for so many weeks now, i just couldn’t leave the poor fella there as he has already fell into the nearby drain, running the risk of being washed away with the next brewing storm....

The crowd identified her "Udumbu!!!!!" (monitor lizard in 'tamil')

PECK is still weak, but gained 300 gr. the last 2 days.
He has anaemia and short bowel syndrome.. But Total protein and albumin improved. Lever and kidney still OK. We gave him the chance and time he needs, the rest is up to his body.

Neutering And Vaccination Subsidy For Serena And Samson (Susan Ann Bell’s)

We have subsidised RM270 for the spaying of Serena (female dog) and neutering of Samson (male dog). This subsidy is from our Medical Fund (RM200) and the extra contribution is from Maria O’Connell. We have also subsidised RM20 for the vaccination of Samson.

MUNJAI UPDATE!

MUNJAI UPDATE!
This sweet dog arrived at the shelter last week with a very deep wound above her tail. It was decided to amputate Munjai's tail & the wound has been closed. Munjai is coping extremely well & is now smiling, eating & drinking just a day after her operation. Munjai will stay in our clinic a little longer & then move to our treatment runs where her condition can be monitored.

Our hope has always been that one day (hopefully in the near future), our government will come on board and practise CNRM or TNRM as a more compassionate and effective means of controlling the street animal population.
