SOS Animals Thailand and Soi Dog recently partnered in a Bangkok mobile sterilization and vaccination clinic. With Bangkok being home to over 300,000 strays Soi Dogs primary focus there is mobile sterilization clinics. Sterilization is the ONLY long term effective way to address the core of the problem – overpopulation.

Many thanks to recent Soi Dog visiting volunteers Khun Zat and Izzy from Sunderland who came to visit SDF and for their very generous donation of 61,200 Baht(Thai) to SDF. Thank you. Izzy and Zat will also be accompanying 6 dogs rescued from the Bangkok floods and from the dog meat trade on their return trip home this week!

We have subsidised RM600 for the spaying of 5 female dogs, rescued by Lai Mei Kueen and Mdm Ho.

We are planning to TNRM for the 5 dogs in the attached photos. The puppies in this area are being chased away and we are not allowed to feed them.
Everytime we feed them, a man staying nearby will chase them away and scold us but we will lure this puppies and the other dogs to a further place

MIGGY MOUSE LOOKING FOR HOME! This cute little guy was found at a nearby temple (Wat Naiyang). Miggy Mouse is just 13 weeks old & has been at the shelter for 4 weeks now. When our catchers found him, he was terrified, very skinny & not able to fend for himself. His left eye is also missing, we don't know the reason for this. Since Miggy has been living in our "Cat Suite" he has become very friendly & is now a cuddly, playful kitten. We'd like to find a loving home for him as soon as possible...

Medical Subsidy For An Accident Dog-Victim (Lai Mei Kueen’s)

I met Lai Mei Kueen at the event yesterday and she told me about this poor dog who was involved in an accident. We will subsidise the dog’s treatment. Mei Kueen has also applied to PetFinder.my for funds and if that is approved, we will be jointly subsidising the bill for this dog. The prognosis is poor, so please keep the dog in your prayers.
Mei Kueen works together with a Mdm Ho and they take care of many street dogs.
