Food Subsidy For Maslinda’s Cats

We have pledged to help Maslinda with food for the many cats that she fosters at her house and in her neighbourhood, and inclusive of the Super Family’s food.
Since Maslinda uses Kucinta canned food for the cats, we have sponsored RM120 worth of this food for her cats.
That’s 48 cans!

A NEW YEAR A NEW LIFE. Today is Songkran. (Thai New Year).
No more fitting day for Cassie, who was one of the dogs rescued from the Dog Meat Traders en route to Vietnam, to commence another journey, only this time to a loving new home in Canada, where new mum Rebeccah will meet her at Toronto airport tomorrow afternoon local time. Here she is just about to levee the shelter.

Maxine Is Safe

MAXINE MEETS HER PHOTOGRAPHER!... Maxine became the symbol of the Bangkok Floods. After being swept away in the flood waters & presumed drowned.
It surprised us all when Maxine was found alive a few weeks ago & we flew her to Soi Dog in Phuket. It was not until this week that Maxine & her photographer (Cindy) met in person & took a walk together. A very happy ending for a very famous dog!

Scaling Mt Kinabalu For The Animals!

My friend, Kon, and his friend, Soo Kok Boon, and their children will be climbing Mt Kinabalu in December this year. The children have a wish, ie. to climb the highest peak in Malaysia for a good cause – to raise funds for AnimalCare.
We will be running the campaign for fundraising nearer to the date of the climb, but for now, allow me to thank Hillary Kon, Soo Jian Guan and Mable Soo Sheau Sze, for their very noble intentions.

Meet Vincent. Madam Ho rescued him from Bt 9 Jalan Cheras about one month ago. At that time, he smelled pretty bad and was suffering injuries to his jaw, ears, under the eye and his paws had holes as well. To make matters worse, maggots were found in his wounds. Very Urgent: Injured Dog Needs Help

A lady by the name of Evelyn just called me. She said a dog had been knocked down by a car and is injured (could not move).
Evelyn carried the dog away from the road and later called me.
She asked what to do.
I said to bring the dog to the vet but she said the vets are closed (I’ve given her the contact details of the PJ vet with the emergency call-back service). She asked what else she could do. I said to give the dog some water to drink and food to eat. Water, at the very least. But she ...

Remembering The 12 Dogs Aboard The Titanic

Only three made it – a Pekingese and two Pomeranians (all from First Class).
