Photos From Soi Dog Foundation's Post 6th Mar 2019, by Soi Dog Foundation
A dog’s resilience is admirable and teaches us that second chances do exist! Ma Luang once had an owner who abandoned him, leaving him feeling unwanted and unloved. In spite of his abandonment, Ma Luang has nothing but unconditional love towards people. He has not given up hope for a second chance to find love.
This handsome boy has been waiting over 2300 days, please do not make him wait much longer! Click here to enquire: https://www.soidog.org/adopt/ma-luang-21

Photos From Soi Dog Foundation's Post 5th Mar 2019, by Soi Dog Foundation
Their names are Chandra, Chloris, and Castor. They were found all alone, infested with ticks, seriously ill, crying in hunger, pain, and fear. They were just weeks old and their mother was nowhere to be found.
Please help abandoned pups like this. Go to https://bit.ly/Chandra_Chloris_Castor to pledge a small monthly gift that will mean vulnerable animals can be rescued and provided with a safe haven and the medical treatment they need.
These three little ones were absolutely infested with flea...

Short-Lived Joy, But It’s Okay 5th Mar 2019, by AnimalCare
We came back from taiji at about 9.30pm and I quickly took a bath so that I could feed the cats.
Vincent was excited too when he heard me preparing food in the kitchen. He came to join everyone.
I offered him canned food, but he couldn’t eat it. Offered raw food, he also could not eat. Kibble? Also no.
It’s okay, we will eat the liquid food first. Before that, some Nutriplus Gel (who knows, this might be the secret?).
So, another session of force-feeding, which I might say, has impro...

Vincent’s Sponge Bath And Sauna 5th Mar 2019, by AnimalCare
Vincent likes sponge baths (but only with a wet towel). Whenever Ming-Yi visits, she will give him one and he really likes it.
So, I gave him one today too. This is also especially to clean up the remaining layers of mucus which had resulted from more than a week’s thick drooling due to the pain in the mouth.
I didn’t force it, though; I took my time in cleaning it bit by bit, whenever I fed him.
Finally, it’s all clean today, but it was quite wet, so I gave Vincent a special s...

February Was A Crazy And Exciting Month, All Rolle.. 5th Mar 2019, by Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia
February was a crazy and exciting month, all rolled into a small package of 28 days. After the first 2 weeks of not being able to secure many terrapin eggs, the following 2 weeks were amazing. We're now incubating a total of 986 eggs in our hatchery, thanks to the kampung young men who agreed to collaborate with us!
Each egg costs RM5, and just when we thought we'd have to face an up-hill battle of raising the money to buy these eggs, along came Dr. Vala, who's been tirelessly promoting our fu...

Vincent…….eats!! 5th Mar 2019, by AnimalCare
Vincent’s long nap lasted many hours and he finally got up around 1pm. I took him up for subcut.
Absolutely no resistance at all. 250ml done.
Then, he hid under our bed and that took some effort to get him out. I brought him downstairs to the kitchen to offer him some food. His breakfast was at 6.00am, so he ought to be hungry by now.
Offered raw food – no. Canned food (his favourite Cindy’s Tender Chicken) – no. I decided not to let him go without food, so I prepared th...

Do You Remember Our Plea In Early January For A Fo.. 5th Mar 2019, by SPCA Penang
Do you remember our plea in early January for a foster family to take care of this pregnant cat so her kittens had a good chance? Our plea was answered and on January 14th she gave birth to 4 kittens and she and her kittens have been very well looked after by the foster family (thank you so much!!). They are now back with us. We will get the mother cat spayed soon. But in the meantime, here are her 4 cute & cuddly kittens at 7 weeks (3 male, 1 female). We need to find forever homes for them. Do ...

Vincent-No-Tube 5th Mar 2019, by AnimalCare
The morning started at 4.30am for us.
Vincent was still in his new nest, the cage in the patio. Luckily he allowed me to put in towels and did not reject them.
I fed everyone else at about 5.30am, then it was Vincent’s turn. Unfortunately, he showed absolutely no interest in the food offered. Raw meat – no. Canned food – no.
I didn’t want him to go hungry, so I decided to try forcefeeding the liquid food (Convalescence Support + Renal Dog). The Convalescence is supposed t...
