Dear all,
We are truly saddened that the doggo rescued yesterday did not make it. It died last night. Our only consolation is that it died warm and comfortable and not wet and drenched in the drain. We were told the dog was abused as there were signs that it's limbs were tied. It is difficult to fathom that there are some humans who can resort to such cruelty. Rest in peace doggo.

Residents in a housing area in Shah Alam are trapping dogs and sending them to the local council. This dog was caught and sent to the pound and when its feeder went to get it out, she was told she would be given the dog only if an NGO takes it in. We gave a letter saying that we would take the dog and once it was busted out if the pound, doggo was sent to vet for neutering, vaccinations and one month quarantine. Minty has been with us for over five years. She was a dog who took time to warm up to new people, but SPCA volunteers have helped her to slowly open up.
