Axel was discharged from St Angels and brought to our PJ place yesterday. He is paralysed and has some pressure sores. These will soon heal under the care of our dedicated staff who are now experts in caring for disabled dogs. We have four of them in PJ and they do a fantastic job. We'll also be putting Axel through some physiotherapy.

Seekor Tapir jantan cedera parah ditemui dan diselamatkan oleh Perhilitan Negeri Pahang akhirnya mati akibat luka tikaman sedalam 2.54CM yang merosakkan buah pinggangnya.
Tapir seberat 320 kilogram ini terkandas dalam sebuah parit disyaki hampir selama seminggu sebelum ditemui dan cuba dibantu. Tapir ini cedera parah disebabkan ditikam oleh manusia tidak berperikemanusiaan. Lokasi penemuan Tapir adalah dalam parit di Ladang Kelapa Sawit Rangkaian Delima SB (RD) Kuantan Pahang.

Amongst the dogs rescued from the deceased German man’s house were an old Rottweiler Vera and the mother dog Sandy.
Sandy was the mother of the other 15 dogs in the house. Apparently, according to friends, Vera had brought Sandy home when she had gone out for a walk. Sandy was very devoted to Vera and was her shadow always licking her face and protecting her.
