'Veronica' came in for a health check. She got all clear and we sent off her bloods as she's 10 years old now and to check if she requires a booster vaccination. Some pets must not be vaccinated if they've suffered immune mediated disease. We could not coax her out of her carrier, she devoured the treats in her safe space and was very well behaved. Mr Zurik, as tough as he looks, is actually a very sweet and sensitive cat.
Ever since he was diagnosed with FIP, he has been living indoors and we share a very special bond.
He has to take his medicines three times a day (the RetroMAD1). The morning round has more medicines (steroids, Vetri DMG, Vit B Complex, fish oil) so that’s more challenging for us. This is Sunbearo, one of the resident sun bears at Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre🐻. Before feeding time, he likes to climb a tree where he waits to be fed. Sadly, a sun-bear's tree-climbing skills aren't enough to protect them. Despite being the least known bear species, sun bears face many threats to their survival. We would like to thank Ms Wong Puei Ee for ordering a second doggie blanket from us and her very kind donation of RM300 to our Fund!
This blanket is for her 5 doggies and the latest addition to her family – a cat. Puei Ee requested something very bright and cheerful and I suggested batik.
