VAX & SPAY FUND | 1 - 30 SEP 2015
We receive many requests for help from members of the public daily. We realize that many cannot afford to pay to vaccinate/ neuter their rescued animals, so we are starting a fund to cover these expenses and relieve their financial burden a little. If you are in a position to help, we would really appreciate it if you could sponsor a vax & spay for animals in need!
Our first beneficiary:
Prakash, Tmn Nirwana (5 cats neutered, fully subsidized)

DOLPHIN RESEARCH UPDATES
Since launching the dolphin sightings hotline in May, we’ve received 7 calls from members of the public, and there was even a sighting of a mother dolphin with her calf! We’re very happy to announce that we will be out at sea again very soon. This has all been made possible because of those who donated to our pioneering dolphin research project.
Since we launched the project in April, we’ve been trying to secure funds to jumpstart the study on wild dolphins in S...

THE AWRC KITCHEN GETS A FRESH DOSE OF PAINT AND A REVAMP!
The ACRES Wildlife Rescue Centre kitchen is where we prepare all of the food for the rescued wild animals in our care. After many years of use, we decided to give it a new lease of life by giving it a new colour! Wildlife Rescue Officer Syabrina , together with dedicated volunteers from Colliers International, stripped down the kitchen, scraped and cleaned the walls, and finally slapped on a new coat of paint. Yet Another Cow-Bunny Fight 1st Sep 2015, by AnimalCare
Does it have anything to do with the 7th lunar month, I really don’t know, but Cow has been attacking Bunny quite a lot recently.
This morning, while I was at work, there was another major fight. My son had to hose Cow down as he was in a locked-body fight with Bunny. When discovered (due to the war cries), Cow’s claw was stuck on Bunny’s face and he could not dislodge it until he (Cow) was hosed down.
After the war…
This is a very rare sight.
Bunny is known to bully T...
