Daffodil’s Escapes…twice 11th Aug 2017, by AnimalCare
Daffodil escaped yesterday and took Ginger and Tabs along with her.
It was late and the front door was not properly closed. I had just fed them supper in the kitchen and owing to a really bad osteoarthritic knee, I’m not very mobile these days.
Suddenly, husband noticed Tabs outside Stargate2, trying to get back inside.
So, Tabs came back in and next thing you know, Ginger was spotted in the porch. We brought him in as well and thereafter began the big hunt for the master of all escapees,...

Concerned members of public may call us, thinking the bat is injured or that the little one is a lost baby bat. There are a few native insectivorous bat s...

The puppies are no doubt cute, but we would like to point out the importance of DeSex your pet to avoid unwanted dumping of litters.

“It is about the health of our rivers,” said Japli @ Jeff Sami who hails from Kg. Lingkudau, Ranau. He is the Community Development Supervisor for the constituency of Kundasang. “We might think a river looks clean, but we can never be sure. That is why I am happy to learn about the techniques for chemical observation, because usually we won’t find out that a river is dirty until we get skin problems and diseases, or when a lot of fishes in the river die.”
The condition of the river a...

HUGE RELIEF AT BOSNIAN DOG POUND
Many months ago we first told you about the dogs at the Hresa pound who were eating only bread and other scraps only three days a week. We've been able to take over feeding them daily thanks to you.
"The Hresa dogs would not eat if it were not for Harmony Fund," volunteer Debbie Ryan explains.
We've also completed repairs to the drainage system which was causing mud and waste to back up into the dogs' kennels during rain.
The broken pipes have been replaced w...
