BREED: POODLE + POMERANIAN
AGE: 6 YEARS OLD

IT TAKES COURAGE & HEART
The emotional struggles of animal rescue are usually more powerful than the physical ones. But this past week, a small band of heroes came together in an extraordinary rescue of a dog stranded at a hydro-electric damn in Bosnia.

NEW WINTER HOUSES
FOR CAGE-FREE DOG SANCTUARY
All year long, Harmony Fund sponsors food and care for hundreds of dogs at this amazing free-running dog sanctuary in Serbia. It's run by a man named Sasha Pesic who started with nothing more than a dream to rescue a few animals.
Recently, Belgian volunteers from a group called Dog Happiness BE traveled to Serbia to construct some additional winter houses for the dogs.
