We thank all concerned members of the public for alerting us to a case of dogs observed to be in the sun, at Raffles Place MRT Station, earlier today (March 23). The dogs were seen to be part of a booth associated with a PropNex outdoor advertisement. We share your concerns and have sent our investigating team to the scene. Our deepest condolences to the family of Pak Mie, a kind and compassionate man known for rescuing hundreds of stray animals in Alor Star, Kedah. Pak Mie, who was in critical condition after suffering a stroke and brain haemorrhage, passed away late last night. Their shelter currently houses some 700 dogs and 200 cats.
