DEAR KIDS, THANK YOU!
Over the past couple of months, we’ve been receiving donations from a group of supporters that you wouldn’t think have the resources to donate - children!
These kids with huge hearts often send us money that they get for their birthdays, or at certain times of the year they donate the money from Chinese New Year “hong bao” red packets, or Hari Raya money - and they all sign off with the same thing: "this money is all for the animals."
Each gift is a very heartwa...

Hi, this is SHAGGY :)
8 year old male poodle, neutered and vaccinated
Shaggy was abandoned by the roadside and he looked like a dirty mop! Hair overgrown, tangled, matted and grey. That's why we named him Shaggy. We think he was abused in a cage as he is very defensive in a cage or a kennel.
Our volunteer groomer gave him a shave and a bath and we have been working to socialise him. He's a very lively and active poodle with a great personality.
Because he was abused he needs a calm and p...

SATURDAY CRIME NIGHT – SUSPECTED FOUL PLAY IN PYTHON’S BRUTAL DEATH
On 28 October 2015, the ACRES Wildlife Rescue team received a call about a python at Bukit Timah Plaza. They arrived to find a young python inert on the floor, its head and body crushed, as if stomped on. Accentuating the grisly scene was a cigarette butt placed in the python’s mouth.
Do you have any information regarding this python? If so, we want to hear from you.
If this python was indeed a victim of deliberate cru...

It's that time of the year again: the time when PUMPKINS ATTACK!
We highly recommend that you watch this demo of the Canine Pumpkin Defense System.
The beauty of the CPDS is that you can get it at the local animal rescue for the cost of love, food, and affection. What a deal for such a high degree of home security!
You need never worry about pumpkin home invasions again. Here in Malaysia, you can find your very own CPDS on http://PetFinder.my.

Meet LAURA!
7+ months old, lab/local mix, vaccinated and dewormed, female
Laura used to be shy but you'd never guess it! She's super friendly and confident now with a cheeky and mischeivous personality! She needs a family that will train her, have lots of fun with her but also be strict when she's up to mischief. If you have a house full of action, this is the dog for you.
She should live with at least one other dog, so she has someone to play with! We suggest her brother Lenny:

A SHARK CAFÉ TO SAVE SHARKS?
Six years ago, our “When Sharks Die, The Oceans Die” event kicked off our ongoing campaign to end the trade in shark fin soup in Singapore, and we urged Singaporeans to do their bit to help save sharks. Sharks are, after all, vital for the survival of ocean ecosystems.
We’re delighted that over the years, many individuals and groups, including a large number of students, have been inspired to make a difference for sharks.
Recently, some National Junior Col...
