A SMALL WIN FOR THE ANIMALS
This is the first time that someone has been prosecuted for abandoning animals in Singapore. Although the sentence should have been harsher, this is historic because the SPCA has seen countless cases of pet abandonment over the years but due to various reasons, these cases do not end up in court.
Let this be a lesson for anyone thinking of dumping their pets on the street. Abandonment is a crime.

CHIPPY AND YOKO - JOURNEY BACK TO THE WILD
Meet Chippy and Yoko, both wild long-tailed macaques recently rescued. Both had to be unfortunately removed from the wild due to public feeding which has altered their wild behaviours and resulted in complaints from the public.
