Today we're responding to an SOS from "Help Pozega Dogs" in Serbia. They saved this dog named Jasmin as she was limping away in fear from dog catchers pursuing her. She was taken to the worst public pound, where dogs do not receive enough to eat let alone any veterinary care.

Ginger’s Scare Of His Life

I don’t know if you remember sometime ago, there was a dog with a collar in our neighbourhood, but we could not locate his owner. Well, the dog has been adopted by a friend in the neighbourhood and that’s all good.
This dog must be very young, because he’s hyper active and very friendly. He often tears the netting of his (new) home and escapes to the playground to look for adventures.

When Mimi the cat visited us at Pet Fiesta coming on a leash (like a dog!), I was totally intrigued. Then Oreo wrote to me to tell me that he too goes for walks on a leash (like a dog!).
Oreo suggested that I could try putting a harness on my cats to see if they would take to it. After all, Oreo started off, in his own words, “flipping like a fish” too. This was precisely what Cow did when we put the harness on him years ago and we gave up after that.

Ever since that disappearance act, Vincent has been home a lot. Thank goodness!
His appetite is fantastic and he loves BARF. In fact, he doesn’t like kibble anymore now.
Breakfast is still Monge. I thaw the BARF in the fridge overnight, so by morning, it’s still cold. That’s why I still give Monge in the morning. Cold food in the morning might cause them to vomit.

Daffodil’s Visit To The Vet’s

On the day that Vincent went for his dental surgery, we also took Daffodil to the same vet.
We found her limping that morning, lifting up her right front leg whenever she walked. Not wanting to take any chances, we decided to take her to the vet’s for a check-up.
Daffodil has never been anywhere away from here except for the time we caught her and sent her for spaying. That was the only time.
