It's gonna be a busy, busy X'mas weekend of shopping, decorations and perhaps partying eh?
And your beloved pets would surely be 10 times more excited and curious looking at you frantically running around preparing things. Perhaps contemplating on how to destruct your gift boxes and decos, hunting for imaginary food hidden within.

Ginger (Day 6) And Timmy Tales

Ginger’s appetite has returned and in fact, he’s making up for lost time – he keeps asking for food!
Ginger is eating his wetfood again, but he will ask for (expect to be given) Royal Canin kibbles.
What about me?
The trouble is, Daffodil takes a very long time to finish her food, so poor you have to be caged until then.
So I let Timmy out, but he has to be restrained.

A Titanic Chain Of Events

Cow & Indy had been getting quite agitated with the PatioCats who had been hanging around the house because it had been raining a lot lately.
Yesterday morning, for reasons unknown to us, Cow mounted an aggression on poor Bunny.
Indy thought he’d better just leave the room, to play it safe.
I had to intervene to break up the escalating aggression and save Bunny.
Is it over?

Dog Wash Weekend on 29 December 2013 from 1-5pm at SPCA SEBERANG PERAI. Volunteers needed to help bath the furkids at the shelter.

The Closure Of Our Food Fund

As announced on 8th September 2013, we are closing our Food Fund by the end of this year: http://myanimalcare.org/2013/09/08/going-ba ck-to-basics/.
In conjunction with that announcement ,we informed all our Food Fund recipients that the last day for all petfood requests is 20th December 2013 and we hoped the 3 month-period would be sufficient time for them to source alternative sources for petfood and budget their expenses accordingly.

OWL SAVED FROM CHIMNEY
A tawny owl is recovering at the Secret World wildlife rescue center in the UK after being saved by firefighters. The owl is sooty but apparently unharmed and is expected to be released back into the wild in the next few weeks. Photo credit: SWNS

Everyone from the patio came into the house.
Ginger too.
Dinner was in the kitchen since everyone had come into the house.
Rosie and Heidi were too scared to eat.
I never knew Heidi would be so scared of thunder.

FIREWOOD TO COOK HOT MEALS FOR 400 DOGS
This week at Sasha Pecic's free-roaming sanctuary in Serbia, the dogs were wondering, "What are all these logs for?"
Well, they didn't wonder for long. Soon the fire was lit and the air was filled with the smell of hot food. The dogs could hardly wait. Your donations are keeping more than 400 dogs fed here and we are incredibly grateful.
