We are greatly pleased to announce that certain areas under the MBPJ will soon be offered the privilege of practising a “Neuter-and-Return to Colony” programme for its street dogs and cats. The state of Selangor has agreed to sponsor some funds to provide free neutering for street animals which will be done by PAWS's Mobile Clinic. We are in the midst of working out the details, so please be patient and wait for further news.
We would like to thank the state of Selangor, particularly ...

This is just one reason why you should adopt a dog from us - they're the best socialised dogs around! Call or visit our center to learn more.

What to do and what NOT to do when reporting on cases of abuse or animals in need of assistance
1. Provide TRUE contact details so that we can call and ask for more information if we do not see the animal at the location you described. Do NOT give false details. Your details are kept confidential and only used for US to contact YOU regarding that animal and nothing else.
2. Describe the situation as accurately as possible and do stand by on email, Facebook messaging or phone to provide more d...

What can you give a lonely, depressed mama pig? Prozac? No, pet rooster!
The relationship between Emma and Greasy clearly shows animals' abilities to bond with each other. How about us forming gentler bonds with other species by eating fewer (or none) of them?
We have dozens of promotions on compassionate, meat-free meals at http://KindMeal.my. None of Emma's relatives, nor Greasy's, either!

Tigers are an umbrella species - protecting them translates to protecting large forested habitats which we rely on for countless ecosystem services such as oxygen, water, medicinal plants, and flood mitigation. Additionally, other willdife residing within the same habitats will be protected as well.
Help us protect the Malayan Tiger and save other wildlife in the process by making a symbolic adoption at http://bit.ly/1IC31el

KONG Cares Singapore paid our shelter a visit last Saturday (May 23), and donated KONG interactive toys for our dogs. Our cats were not forgotten either, with the thoughtful donation of cat toys too.
It looks like our Kaiser (pictured here) has already gotten a head start on the fun and play, made only better by KONG Cares Singapore whom we thank for their kind donations-in-kind.

Our team responded to a call for help yesterday, this dog had been spotted lying on the MRR2 highway. We managed to retrieve her, she is unable to move and our vets are assessing the extent of her injuries - she looks to be in very poor condition, possibly left lying there for days. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers!

TVB star Elaine Yiu worked with us recently while filming a segment of her show. She came back to visit us again yesterday, and was very happy to see our animals and catch up with our staff! She saw how Fuji's skin had deteriorated, and very generously made a USD400 donation towards her continued skin treatment. Thanks Elaine, you're truly a celebrity with a big heart!

TNRM in Setia Alam
--------------------------
We received a request for help from an animal lover in Setia Alam, who said there was a stray mother dog and her pup living on the streets. Neighbours didn't know what to do and had reported them to MBSA, but then called MBSA again to ask them not to come to catch the little family when they knew SPCA was coming to assist.
We set up a humane dog trap at the location, and the neighbours helped monitor it until the mother dog was caught. We are worki...

Indy To The Rescue (another Heroic Tale…or Is It?) 24th May 2015, by AnimalCare
This afternoon, we went out to my mum’s to collect the aprons and upon our return, Indy was calling from the grille. Initially, I thought nothing of it, but soon I realised that his tone was very different.
So I went in to check and to my horror, I found Bunny sitting on the table looking very dazed. There were two scratch marks on his face, very close to his eyes. There was also a drop of brown discharge on the table and I noticed scratch marks on Bunny’s arm too.
Quickly, I got ou...

Indy, The Protector Of The Undercats! 24th May 2015, by AnimalCare
It is a known fact that Indy are friends with Tiger and Tabs. And it is also a known fact that Tiger and Tabs find it rather difficult surviving in Cow territory, what with a mad Cow Mau with an unpredictable temper, Bunny the Bully and Cleo (we actually call her the oviraptor because she steals food). Only Pole is not intimidating.
Lately, Indy has been protecting Tiger and Tabs.
I’ll look after both of you, don’t you worry!
The other day, Cow attacked Tabs (no injury, thank good...
