We have plenty of puppies looking for their forever homes. A shelter is not a place they can call home. These puppies need plenty of love and care from us....a "real" home is what they need, with humans that will know how to cherish and protect them. Why not bring one home this Chinese New Year? Give these homeless puppies a chance to enjoy the warmth of your family on this festive season and the many more to come. If you would like to adopt a furkid from us, please drop by our shelter today ...

Gus Is One Of The Sweetest Boys I Have Ever Met. H..
8th Feb 2015, by Dr Rayya's Online Veterinary Journal

Gus is one of the sweetest boys I have ever met. He had a nasty oral melonoma (aggressive mouth cancer) removed one year ago and it came back and was super aggressive. He was treated palliative but his fight ended last Friday. RIP. He was very much loved and looked after and will be very missed! <3

We Are An Animal Shelter And The Animal's Wellbein..
8th Feb 2015, by Langkawi Animal Shelter & Sanctuary Foundation

We are an animal shelter and the animal's wellbeing is our priority. As much as we would love to rehome our dogs and cats, we do pre screen potential adopters. If someone informed us of their intentions to adopt a puppy for the sake of a 'guard' dog and allowed to roam freely on the streets, we think they should reconsider their decisions. It's heart breaking when we see accident victims being brought in and didn't make it because of irresponsible pet owners.

Collective Effort Needed For Responsible Pet Ownership
7th Feb 2015, by SPCA Singapore

In our reply letter to TODAY's Voices page, published today (7 Feb 2015), we pointed out that responsible pet ownership involves the concerted and sustained efforts of all parties involved, and that Project ADORE has made possible the adoption of medium-sized, local cross-breeds by responsible owners residing in public housing. Ultimately, pet owners in public flats should be responsible, in terms of their animal's care and wellbeing as well as in relation to the community space and context. ...

Mr Z, The Master Of Camouflage
7th Feb 2015, by AnimalCare

You would expect nothing less from a KGB-trained cat… Can you spot Mr Zurik? Here he is! This is Daffodil’s table, but since Mr Zurik is on good terms with her, he sometimes shares the table with her. And Daffodil doesn’t mind (or maybe she has no choice!). Mr Zurik comes for his meals daily. But he has to eat in the porch because Rosie runs away from him. If he misses his meal, he will “stalk” me at the playground by trotting pitifully after me. After two rounds...

Another Passer-By
7th Feb 2015, by AnimalCare

Very frequently, Bunny’s Place has visitors….on the ledge. They are the neighbourhood cats and they would look longingly, wishing they could join Bunny’s Place. This morning, a smallish black and white cat came by… Well, hello there, little kitty. It immediately caught Cow’s eye. Looks like a nice place down there, how do I get in? Rub, rub, rub…maybe I can push down this netting? Until today, we are still amazed (and totally grateful) at the success of o...
