Spay-Neuter Subsidy For 6 Street Dogs (Jaclyn Lim Chooi Li’s)

We have subsidised RM900 for the spay-neuter of 6 street dogs looked after by Jaclyn Lim. This subsidy comes from the AnimalCare Donors (RM300) and Berjaya Cares (RM600).

Christmas comes early for our shelter dogs this year! As part of an auction organised by students from Singapore Management University’s People for Animal Welfare (PAW) club, a 5kg Christmas cake for dogs prepared and sponsored by The Barkery Singapore was auctioned off for S$1000.
The kind bidder who wishes to remain anonymous didn't stop there. She donated the cake to our shelter, putting in an additional S$444.20 as donation to the SPCA.

SOS - URGENT! Attention to rescuers who stay near Batu 11 Cheras or Balakong. Someone has reported 5-6 puppies newborn puppies in a box in front of Hong Leong Bank along Jalan Balakong. No mother dog in sight. One puppy has sadly died since yesterday, is anyone able to foster these puppies? Please circulate widely, SHARE so a foster home can be found asap!

"I found this Basset Hound mixed breed male doggy with a metal chain collar at Tmn Dagang Ampang on Sat, 7th Dec 2013 morning. He was very hungry and whining looking left and right for his owner. He was soaking wet and very hungry. I fed him and placed him temporary with a pet shop. I cant bring him home as I stay in a condo. She's not part of our 12 Singapore Specials of Christmas feature, but Kiseki the Bull Terrier sure has a story to tell.
Found immobile along Changi Road two weekends ago, Kiseki had injured hind legs and was bleeding from the mouth when our Junior Inspector (JI) arrived on the scene. Our JI rushed her back to our shelter where she was checked by our consultant vet. Kiseki was paralysed from the waist down and we suspected a mild nerve problem.
