When Thunder Roars….

There was thunder and lightning this afternoon, followed by very heavy rain.
It happened right after I had just served dinner.
Only the three titans were brave enough to eat.
Pole, Tiger and Cleo were already hiding under the bench.
Poor Tiger…he’s so scared.
This is Tabs’ shelter (behind the door).

Tabs and Tiger spend most of the day outside Bunny’s Place now because the “titanic tension” inside is getting a bit too much for the tabbies to bear.
Tiger and Tabs are friends with Ginger.
But Tabs is very clever. She tries to trick us into letting Indy (her good friend) out as well.
Here’s how she does it: She stands in front of the grille, as though asking to be let in.
Then, the moment we open the grille, Tabs runs and out comes Indy.

The Midnight Taunting Sessions At The Stargate

A few nights ago, I heard that familiar war-cry at the Stargate.
Sigh…okay, okay, now what?
Who is it this time?
Who else could it be?
It’s Mr Taunter himself, Timmy Taunter!
All he does is just sit at the Stargate.
This is enough to work the Titans up into a crazy frenzy.
Whether Timmy Taunter says anything, I really don’t know.
The tension was escalating so I had to intervene.

Christmas comes early for our shelter dogs this year! As part of an auction organised by students from Singapore Management University’s People for Animal Welfare (PAW) club, a 5kg Christmas cake for dogs prepared and sponsored by The Barkery Singapore was auctioned off for S$1000.
The kind bidder who wishes to remain anonymous didn't stop there. She donated the cake to our shelter, putting in an additional S$444.20 as donation to the SPCA.

SOS - URGENT! Attention to rescuers who stay near Batu 11 Cheras or Balakong. Someone has reported 5-6 puppies newborn puppies in a box in front of Hong Leong Bank along Jalan Balakong. No mother dog in sight. One puppy has sadly died since yesterday, is anyone able to foster these puppies? Please circulate widely, SHARE so a foster home can be found asap!
