Rascal’s Sporo Story (a Sharing By Sau Yee) 5th Jun 2013, by AnimalCare
On 31st March 2013, Sau Yee from Ipoh wrote to me requesting help and advice for her pet-cat, Rascal, who had just been diagnosed with sporotrichosis. I referred Sau Yee to two of our readers who have successfully home-nursed sporo-cats and since then, we have been in communication.
Upon my request, Sau Yee has agreed to share some of her experience, for the benefit of all our readers.
Here are some details:
On 7th April (after 7 days):
Hello Kahyein

Miracle-Kitty’s Surgery Is Postponed (Nur Adlina Mansor’s) 5th Jun 2013, by AnimalCare
Ref: http://myanimalcare.org/2013/06/04/medical-s ubsidy-for-kitty-nur-adlina-mansors/
What a great relief! I had been so worried about Miracle undergoing surgery today. From the photos, it sure looked like Miracle is a bit too young or maybe even too weak to undergo surgery. Also, we suggested that Nur Adlina get a second opinion to see if Miracle’s eyes could be saved.
One thing at a time then. Let’s hope for the best for Miracle.

Timmy And Mr Shrew 5th Jun 2013, by AnimalCare
Timmy either has very strong hunting instincts and is incredibly greedy. We cannot decide which is which, though. I think he has caught at least 2 birds so far, we saw him throwing a snake into the air and we don’t know if he was responsible for bringing in the other (dead) snakes and he also chases the shrews who come into our garden.
However, today, I heard the familiar clackity-clackity-clack sound of shrews chewing on cat kibble at the patio and when I looked out, who did I see?
Tim...

Elmo Watches From The Ledge 5th Jun 2013, by AnimalCare
Breakfast was as usual at the pantry this morning.
Little Elmo came to watch while Bunny and Friends ate.
Hi Elmo!
Bunny looking at the new cat on the ledge.
May I join you all?
Elmo knows the roof is the way in, but it’s too high for him to jump, and just as well for his sake!
It would be a nightmare if Elmo jumps down and is confronted by Cow, Bunny and Indy. That would be a world war!

“A Letter From Heaven”, In Loving Memory Of Mimi 5th Jun 2013, by AnimalCare
My friend, CP, started caring for cats a few years ago after she read my books. Mimi, Didi and Manja are her first rescues and adoptees. About 2 weeks ago, CP lost Mimi. With all the love showered on Mimi during her tour on earth, being a part of the Lim Family, Mimi is definitely in a happy place now. Her tour on earth i...
