Megan is another dog rescued from the streets with an enormous hole on her neck filled with maggots. She smelled awful and was very weak. Some cruel people around even threw stones at her and this was witnessed by the rescuer herself. How CRUEL & HEARTLESS!
Rescuer brought Megan to the vet and she was being treated for her wound and ticks fever since then. In order to save cost on boarding, it was decided that Megan to be sent to foster home.

We are generally told that females can be neutered at around 4.5 months of age while it is advisable to wait for males to be at least 8 months before getting them castrated (to decrease the chances of having urinary problems later on due to early castration). However, vets differ on this.

Remember Stone, the dog that was removed from Chai Leng Park, food streets with a huge tumour, weighing 0.80kg hanging down near to his penis? He is now safe and recuperating well at Venice Vet after his surgery.
Our initial plan was to put him back at his original place after he recovers but we have since been let known that the hawkers there has been abusing him all this while by splashing hot water at him and also other strays around the area.
