I got up at 4am this morning with very mixed feelings. I was worried and anxious…did the miracle happen last night, is Bosco okay?
I know I will not get any answers until the clinic opens today and though my mind tells me I should not worry because worry is a negative emotion (which generates negative vibes), my heart couldn’t help it.

Tracie Mitchum is a one-woman dynamo in South Carolina. Each month the Harmony Fund sends her financial support toward the dozens of animals she takes in. Not a week goes by that she doesn't have a new litter of kittens, a dog with heart worm or a an animal that needs emergency surgery after rescue from the streets.

Bosco Sits Up!!!

My phone just rang 10 minutes ago. It was from the clinic. I took a deep breath, steeled my heart and answered the call.
It was from the vet and I think my heart stopped.

As I sit here writing this post, Bosco is fighting for his life at the clinic. I just got home.
To all my friends, I only ask that you join me in praying for Bosco to be strong, to be at peace and to be free from pain and suffering.

This is Cupcake. His mother was pulled from traffic just seconds before being hit by a car on the streets of Turkey. Thanks to volunteer Manuela Wroblewski, the mama cat is alive and delivered her kittens that very night in Manuela's apartment. More than 100 street cats and dogs are fed each day and regular spay/neuter and emergency care services are offered here thanks to Manuela.
