Buy Cookies To Help The Doggies (Jennifer SL Leong’s) 14th Jun 2012, by AnimalCare
One of Jennifer Leong’s rescued dog, Terry, suspected abandoned by the owner, was recently diagnosed as having heartworms. The two-day treatment is expected to cost RM800 or more, if complications arise. We have pledged to subsidise 50% up to a maximum of RM500 as per our policy.
Jennifer is trying to raise the additional funds to cover Terry’s expenses and since she has a passion for baking cookies, I’ve suggested that she bakes cookies to raise funds for Terry.
We fully suppo...

Survival Of The Fittest 14th Jun 2012, by Noah's Ark CARES
I often see James lingering around the coffeeshop in the area of some
factories where I feed strays. He is a big-headed friendly boy who will be
one of the first to come forth for food, unlike the girls there who are more shy.
Being a territorial alpha male, James often got into fights and ended up with
injuries, but for the past few times he recovered with medication. I
heard from a few stallholders at the coffeeshop that James used to belong to
someone. The “owner” would still visi...

What To Do With Strays And How You Can Help 14th Jun 2012, by SPCA Sarawak
The truth about controlling the population of strays worldwide is that there is NONE. There is no sure way which we can use to curb population explosions or replenishing of animals other than with mass killings of every single animal on sight and even then, despite all the time, cruelty, pain and bloodshed, there'll still be strays around only that in the end, they'll become wary of human contact and breed out of sight, hiding their offspring from human eyes.As an animal lover, you can...
