Last year they rescued over 900 animals including 290 dogs, 279 cats, care for 6 feral cat colonies with a combined population of over 200 animals, plus the rehab and care of over 200 hedgehogs and other wild animals.

Pak Mie And Wife, Another Canine Angel

I came across Pak Mie shelter story more than half a year ago. Pak Mie and wife have been rescuing and feeding more than 500 stray dogs and 100 strays cats at Alor Star, Kedah. Beautiful story about the sentience of cows. Sometimes we forget that animals that we call "food" are sentient beings (in the same way that animals we call "pets" are). We can help make a better world for them by becoming vegetarian or at least cutting down on our meat consumption.
Today is Veggie Thursday in Singapore- join the growing movement and make today meat-free and animal-friendly!
