Baggy’s Supper 10th Aug 2012, by AnimalCare
Given her condition, I would feed Baggy as much as she can eat, whenever she is willing to eat.
Since she rejected her AD dinner, I thought I would try a home-cooked supper.
I laid everything out and waited for her to show some interest.
When she did, I offered a little bit, but she didn’t want to eat on her own. So, I force-fed, but not forcibly, because she was willing to swallow the food and allowed me to open her mouth. This was so much better than the previous AD meals where she ki...

Baggy On Friday 10th Aug 2012, by AnimalCare
Baggy has been very “assertive” today, but I’m not sure if that’s good, because she only ate a tiny bit of AD this morning, and thereafter, she assertively refused food. I only managed to force-feed her a few mouthfuls after which she would kick off from me and run away.
She took her medicine (the Doxy and Prednisolone) but this evening, she spat out the Hi-Vite. I actually thought she liked it yesterday (the liquid that looks and smells like Marmite) but just now, she wa...

road for 3 days and residents have never seen her before in their
neighborhood section. So, a few dog-loving residents decided to rescue
her to prevent her being caught by DBKL animal catchers and she’s now

Erythropoietin For Baggy 10th Aug 2012, by AnimalCare
Took me a whole morning and many phonecalls, but I’ve finally got the erythropoietin for Baggy.
Baggy lost another 0.05kg today.
We’ve given her the first erythropoietin jab. Have to wait for 3-5 days for the body to respond. Praying hard this will help.
I’ve spoken to three vets – all three did not recommend blood transfusion because it is just “buying time” and does not address the cause.
Thank you everyone, for all your help.
