Visiting Meiji Again, With Dogfood Supply 18th Jul 2011, by AnimalCare
We had already ordered the dogfood and was awaiting confirmation of the availability of the lorry. The confirmation only came last night at 11pm. Amy Tham and I had planned to go together this time, so we started off at 9.30am this morning to Amy Lim's shop to wait for the lorry. I would drive and Amy would navigate since I'm completely hopeless with directions. I don't even know how to get to Genting Highlands from Subang Jaya, so....that's why I needed Amy! Here's the food.Unf...

Spider Calf 18th Jul 2011, by Dr Rayya's Online Veterinary Journal
This is a rare case and I actually did not see this calf myself.
This little calf was born alive with a major abnormality: an extra set of legs attached to his own head! There are a few calves that are born with a variety of such abnormalities but most of them usually die a few days after birth.
In this case, this spider calf was full of go. I mean check out the picture below, it clearly reflects his lively spirit!
My colleague Tony at Naracoorte and Penola clinic dealt with this case and was...

JULY ADOPTION DRIVE AT JAYA ONE 18th Jul 2011, by Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better
The JAYA ONE adoption drive Sunday drew a big crowd and we are happy that about 13 puppies and dogs found new homes. However, someone again abandoned 5 puppies at our half-way-home but luckily this time around dumped them inside the compound instead of tying them to the gate. Given that two cats had also been adopted at the drive, we have decided to also have cats at all our future adoption drives. Something strange is also happening as several stray pregnant cats have 'checked' themselves...

Winnie And Dad - New Rescuers In The Making!! 18th Jul 2011, by AnimalCare
I wrote this about a week ago: http://www.myanimalcare.org/2011/07/appe al-for-help-to-catch-stray-dogs-in.html. It was about Winnie Low and her father, who feeds the stray dogs at his workplace in North Port, appealing for rescuers to help capture the dogs to be spayed-neutered. Since no one volunteered, Winnie and her father decided to try to do it themselves. So, Winnie and her mum came over yesterday to borrow two of our large foldable cages. This morning, W...

A Wonderful Carnival At SS19/1 17th Jul 2011, by AnimalCare

"This is going to be a good day", I thought to myself. Soon, CP arrived, followed by Mary and Amy. ...
