Jackie's Condition Is Critical (Catherina Tay's)
10th Nov 2011, by AnimalCare

I was not home all evening, so I could not update all of you on Jackie's condition but I was on sms communication with Catherina. The vet has kept Catherina informed on Jackie's condition throughout the day. That was the last update I received. Catherina feels that she should have brought Jackie to the Klang Valley for treatment much earlier. ...

Some Hard Facts About The Shelter
10th Nov 2011, by SPCA Sarawak

We are a NO kill shelter which means we do not euthanize to combat overcrowding. HOWEVER, a lot of the animals die off because each staff has on average 80 - 90 animals to look after and quite a few of these will be sick and require special medical attention which we cannot provide since we do not have a fulltime inhouse veterinarian at the moment. Diseases get spreaded very quickly because the cages are placed in close proximity to each other so although we have more than enough cages, we don...
