Two days ago, Sudhamma Chua had texted me about a mother-cat who had disappeared leaving her five newborns behind. How does one define a stray? Simply explained, they are animals that do not have homes and/or that are not owned. The streets should not be their home, but still, not every animal is that lucky to have a permanent and cozy place to reside in. Some people find them a pest, though most of the time, the animals do not disturb them at all. I went to see Amber and to settle her bill this evening. As usual, she's oh-so-happy, active and absolutely excited. I had to ask her to sit so that I could take her photo, and she obediently sat!Take me out, take me out!I wanna play!We did take her out...to get her vaccinated. Amber has been given her last TVT jab, has been spayed and will be vaccinated tomorrow. The TVT tumour has shrunk considerably and the vet says it ought to heal on its own now. She would need to be monitored for the next few weeks, just to be sure there is no relapse. As I've reported in this blog, Amber is always oh-so-happy and is about the friendliest dog I've ever met.
