PLEASE HELP. THEY ARE STILL WAITING AT THE VET.
SOS SOS SOS. Someone contacted us just now about a dumped dog outside their office. We advised them what to do and they have admitted the dog at St Angel to update vaccination, neutering and skin treatment. They have been asked to pay a deposit of RM1800 but are not able to afford. * Blood donation appeal for Money cat *
HT Chin has urgently reached out to us to help look for a blood donor for her cat called Money who is only 1.3 years old.
Money is positive in FeLV and his HCT has now dropped to 21.1%. The vet informed in the event it dropped below 15%, an urgent blood transfusion is required.
Money's blood type is Group B and this is not a common blood group. They have tested 5 cats to do the cross-matching yesterday, but unfortunately all are not compatible.

Next up is the Painted Terrapin (Batagur borneoensis).
This #turtle is closely related to the river terrapin, but they lay their eggs and make their nests on coastal beaches, unlike the river terrapin which lays eggs on riverbanks.
In the mating season, which is from January to June, heads of males turn white with a bright red stripe between the eyes, and the usually brown shell lightens with three thick, black stripes running down the shell, making them very attractive to females!
