In Loving Memory Of Cow Mau (an Album Spanning 18 Years)

It has taken me about a day to sieve through the many thousands of photos and memories of Cow Mau since the day he was rescued from the roadside. And while I was doing it, I paused so many times to recall the particular incident that came with each set of photos.

Today Morning, We Went To Segambut And Managed To ..

Today morning, we went to Segambut and managed to catch these 7 dogs ( 6 males and 1 female ) for neutering. There are more but our panel is full, couldn’t accommodate more until others are discharged.
There are many strays at Segambut areas. These are the ones fed by Christina, everyone was busy catching dogs, we didn’t have extra hands to record. We will go back for more later.

Indy To The Vet’s (runny Nose)

When I took Cow Mau to the vet’s yesterday, I took Indy along too.
I have been trying to settle Indy’s runny nose for more than a week now. It didn’t seem very serious initially, so I gave him Cetirizine. Then I added Bromhexine and the nebuliser (Ventolin should only be used a maximum of 5 days, then it needs rest during which normal saline nebulising can be done). I had Ventolin-ed him for 4 days. I had been giving him Vetri DMG too.

Medical Aid For 1 Dog In Balakong (Tong Yut Fun’s) – Swollen Neck

We have provided an aid of RM400 for the medical treatment of this dog, MSM Girl 2.
This medical claim is submitted together with the neutering claim of the same dog (please see previous post).
The full costs according to the invoice is RM611.20 which includes the following: Tick fever test, medication, lancing the wound, wound cleaning and 10 days’ hospitalisation. The clinic gave a rescue discount too.

Neutering Aid For 4 Dogs In Balakong (Tong Yut Fun’s) & Updates

We have fully sponsored RM720 for the spaying of these 4 female dogs.
The vet charged RM180 per dog.
We have also given a partial aid for the medical treatment of MSM Girl 2 (please see next post).

Goodbye, Our Legend, Cow Mau (2006 – 2024)

Cow Mau passed away peacefully at 8.55pm tonight, surrounded by his family.
We had actually just returned from the vet’s after his 3rd laser therapy and I was supposed to give him more water orally. But he already started rejecting fluids. I even bought new Japanese milk for him and had a new medication to help with his hypomotility issue.

Kuota kucing serahan berbayar hanya dibenarkan 30% daripada jumlah keseluruhan 180 ekor kucing yang berada di Galeri Animal Malaysia pada satu-satu masa.
