Please don't assume what you read on Save the Kitties site is accurate. I am a volunteer from NJ and spent 4 days there in March. It is a wonderful place and is getting better. I did NOT see any of the ill-treatment that is described on STK site. The Ranch is complying with all county and AC regulations. The pictures on the site are from 2009 and were assessment photos. All animals were treated. The Ranch has gotten 2 Grand Pyrenees dogs to help guard the cats. There is a private FIV barn and many improvements. Commenting that "apparently it isn't the rosy ...etc." does a huge disservice to the hard working staff and defenders. I will be back to volunteer in October. I am an animal lover and would NOT be promoting the Ranch if it were a "cat hell." The people posting the negative remarks are more concerned with their egos than the cats' well-being.
In 2 years time Caboodle Ranch has become a PURRFECT haven for the kitties! The improvements are phenomenal and they have received Great marks from Animal care in that county. They have many sponsors now, are on TV specials, have many volunteers, received new buildings for FIV cats, storage shelters...on and on. Please keep updated with their blog for all news: http://www.caboodleranch.org/
