Wild animals belong in the wild. SPCA thinks that exotic animals are NOT meant to be kept as pets, full stop. Good job PERHILITAN, for putting in place more licensing procedures to discourage the buying and selling of these poor wild animals.

KUALA LUMPUR: Pet shop owners here are scratching their heads over the Department of Wildlife and National Parks’ (Perhilitan) announcement that a new permit is required to continue operating their businesses.
