Today, ISPCA had a brief meeting with the authority from Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh (MBI) to report on the progress of the co-operated program - TNR (M) Program. During the meeting, ISPCA handed the records of the strays neutered since the start of the program (1/4/17) until 1/6/17.
The 6-month trial run of MBI-ISPCA co-operated TNR program which started from 1st April has already reached approximately 200+ strays (including 7 cats).
Currently, this is the 2nd stage of the implementation and after the Hari Raya holidays, it is expected that we will proceed towards third phase of the program. Hereby, we ISPCA hope that the public can support our TNR program which aims to reduce the stray population.
We believe and hope that the actual implementation of this program will be within this year and hopefully it helps to control the stray population which is one of the biggest issue in town. Also, we hope that this program can also benefit the strays and changes their life.
