Since most of the cell in left eyeball was death, the eyeball was removed necessarily in order to preserve its life along with a successful neutering operation. It was observed in clinic for a week, Jazmin the kind hearted lady and ISPCA volunteers fetch him from clinic two days ago, now it’s handed down to Jazmin to take care of. We will bring it to the shelter or release it to its original interest place when it's fully recovered. As ISPCA is highly supportive of the program of Trap, Neuter, and Release, also known as TNR, we had left a mark that represents it as a neutered dog in order to avoid re-neuter incident, and had inserted microchip for recognition purpose.
The reasons we did not bring it back directly to shelter all because the shelter is extremely out of space, and we are very concerned about the high number of old and ill dogs in our shelter which requires plenty of care.
Dog is man’s best friend has always been the well known fact, but why do we refuse to give a hand when we sees our best friend straying at roadsides, at shop lots or anywhere else they can barely live in and survive. All they need is just a home, with some food and water and an owner that love them.
Public are welcome to visit ISPCA and know more about adoption, so that they can have a home instead of waiting for someone to love and died of old age eventually.
