Children Need To Be Taught On How To Interact With.. 1st Aug 2018, by SPCA Sarawak
Children need to be taught on how to interact with dogs (and cats). Sometimes in their excitement of seeing a dog (or cat), they inadvertently put the dog (cat) on guard, putting all involved at risk. This is not the fault of the animal, but children need to be taught on the correct approach.
We (as adult) must teach them to be gentle and kind to animals.

We are very thankful that DVS came to vaccinate our animals against rabies today. With this exercise, all our animals are now under quarantine for 28days. There shall be no adoption of animals from our shelter temporary until 23rd August 2018.
Remember to vaccinate your pet dog against rabies. Rabies vaccine should be given on annual basis, NOT once a lifetime, until Sarawak is declared Rabies Free zone.

Barking early in the morning may ne a form of nuisance if one is iving in an apartment or clusters of houses. Why do dogs bark when the sun rises?
A dog's bark in the morning is an act of getting attention from its owner to feed or do potty. The dog shall continue to bark if not attended.

It you're taking your dog for a walk under this hot weather, please be careful.
Heat stroke can be prevented by taking caution not to expose your pet to hot and humid conditions. While travelling in car, make sure that your pet is well ventilated, and never leave your pet in at car with the window closed, even if the car is parked in the shade. When outdoors, always make sure your pet is in a well- ventilated area, with access to plenty of water and shady spots.

Identity: Light brown fur, wearing a blue collar.
Last seen: 08th July, at Lorong Bintang & Cloud Estate, Green Road. The dog is under medication and has demodectic mange. Owner is still waiting for his return.

Please note on the followings:
- Bring your IC to register and also your dog/s.
- Leash your dog(s) at all times during the programme.
Eligibility -
- Dogs of 3 months old and above that haven’t receive anti-rabies vaccine.

Last seen: 26/6 at roughly 3:30PM
Location: Lorong 1, Kong Ping Road, 4 1/2 mile
Other description would be:
Very active, good with people and is slightly round. Has longer than average nails at the moment, and understands basic commands. The way he sits is he stretches first before sitting down(lays). Does not have his dog tag on before we left him out for a walk around the garden.
