Tonight is the eve of the 9th day of CNY, there will be lot of firecrackers lighting activities in most parts of Malaysia, please follow these below steps to keep your furry friends safe.
(1) Make sure your pet is wearing a collar with identification tags with current information. Cats should wear break away / safety collars. Microchipping your pet is always advised.

A New Home For The Furrykids

A new RM1.8mil animal protection centre will be set up by the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) Seberang Prai in Juru.
It will house 1,600 strays and come with two dog kennels, a cat kennel, an administrative office, an animal care section, a kitchen and a janitor’s room upon completion next year.
There will also be a multipurpose open barn for holding animal talent shows, awareness campaigns and fundraising activities.

SPCA SEBERANG PERAI will be holding our Pet Adoption Day at Autocity (in front of Shop-In D'Park) on January 30th, 2016 from 8pm to 11pm.
Besides helping our fur-kids find good homes, we are also collecting donation items such as rice, eggs, fresh milk or kibbles.

A 4 years old female rottie mixed GR is currently up for adoption. Apparently her owner has moved out from the house leaving her behind. The neighbour, seeing her at such pitiful situation, having to fend for herself without food and water then decided to bring her to our shelter to surrender.
