A Total Of 5 Puppies Were Adopted Out During Our A..

A total of 5 puppies were adopted out during our adoption drive last night.
We would like to send our heartfelt appreciation to those who came support us and opt to adopt instead of buy.
In addition, we also would like to thank a kind donor, Alvin Lim for donating 50 pieces of 2016 calendar to us in aid of our fund raising project.

Spca Seberang Perai Will Be Holding Our Pet Adopti..

SPCA SEBERANG PERAI will be holding our Pet Adoption Day at Autocity (in front of Shop-In D'Park) on 14 November 2015 from 7pm to 10pm.
Besides helping our fur-kids find good homes, we are also collecting donation items such as rice, eggs, fresh milk and kibbles.
Come by on this night and give us your support. Thank you and we shall see you there!

We are pleased to announce that our new shelter will kick-start our building work soon. With that, we will need plenty of Public's support in funding us with the building of this new hope for the furrykids, especially at this point of time where all cost of materials are at the rise.
Basically, our new shelter (located at Juru) will be divided into 6 sessions:
Section A: Open shade and cement floor
Section B: Office
Section C: Small Kennels

Dog catchers from MBPP (Majlis Bandaraya Pulau Pinang) in action!
If the culling order has been lifted, why are they still out to get these dogs? And why are NGOs being turned away from entering the pound to assist? Is killing the strays to help achieve the zero-stray objective the main motive behind this action?

Veterinary Department Targets 10,000 Rabies Vaccin..

Today, we attended the first newly setup committee meeting organised by DVS in Bukit Tengah, Penang. As of current, all house dogs are required to be vaccinated.
Upcoming phase : All “Managed Dogs”, taken care of by local communities/feeders at specific locations throughout Penang will be vaccinated.
As for the rest of the strays dogs, DVS will have to wait for a detailed "vaccination and population control" proposal from WVS before deciding on the next move.
