URGENT: An Injured Cat Needs A Fosterer/caregiver…and More (Melvin Yong’s)

Celebrations aside, there is no time to rest. For the last few hours, I have been communicating with Melvin Yong, who called me this evening regarding an injured cat that needs help.
Melvin only managed to give me this much information about the cat’s condition:
The cat is around 3 years of age.
Injuries sustained
• Swollen L2-L7 which led to a nerve injury in which resulted in a
malfunction bladder. Cat is not able to empty its bladder and the
urine has to be manually drained...

MAE MA... CUTE AS A BUTTON!
This sweet girl is approx 4 years old & has been at the shelter since 2009. Mae Ma is a very social dog & adores everyone.. She loves it when volunteers come to visit as she is always desperate for cuddles. She also becomes very excited if you take her walkies!. Mae Ma has a lovely short gold/white coat & very cute "one up/one down" ears!

Yay!! Bobby Wins 6th Prize In The Canine Caviar Contest!

Just received the good news that Bobby won 6th prize in the Canine Caviar Contest and the prize is a pack of Canine Caviar for him!
YAY!
This is better than the i-pad ‘coz I don’t need an i-pad and neither does Bobby.
The prize-giving ceremony is on 18th Feb, at their HQ, which means Bobby will get a car-ride to Selayang PLUS we can visit the BLUEYS!!!

Shiver was found at the side of a road at the brink of death. He had horrific skin infections, malnutrition & pneumonia. We did not think Shiver would survive. After several months of intensive care & treatment Shiver's condition gradually improved. His story was shared worldwide & he helped create awareness of Soi Dog internationally.

On the home front, I hear there are underground dog meat restaurants in Puchong, too.

JIP UPDATE!.. CAN WE FIND HER A HOME IN CHICAGO? We have had a very kind offer from ISDF (International Street Dog Foundation) who have offfered to pay for Jip's flight to Chicago. We have a flight volunteer flying to Chicago on 27th Feb & Jip could go on this flight! The adopter only needs to pay for flight from Phuket to Bangkok + flight cage. MEL, SAMMY & ROLLAR NEED NEW HOMES!... These 3 adorable kittens were found with no mother when just a few weeks old. They were all very skinny, malnourished & had cat flu. Had we not found them, all 3 would surely have died. They're now fully recovered into happy, healthy playful kittens & we need to find them good homes!
