A Heartwarming Fish Story

I seldom write about fish because we don’t deal with the fish in the oceans nor those in people’s aquariums, but today, my friend, Kon, shared a very touching fish story with me.
Kon’s mechanic keeps fish in an aquarium. At the same time, this mechanic looks after his aged mother who had had a stroke. On the day his mother passed away, one of his fish too had a stroke.

SPCA Penang Committee will be meeting at its earliest to respond to the request of MDDB for partaking possession of a dog from our shelter, a dog attended to by SPCA (Pg) from a house at Jln. Sri Bahari at the request of the property owner.

Sad Reflections On The Untimely Demise Of The Loyal Dog In Penang

So previously, 2 dogs were euthanised in Penang because they attacked a tourist in the course of doing their duty in protecting their territory. Never mind what they were doing, never mind intention, they killed a man, so they were sentenced to death for it. They were dogs. They had no chance to speak up for themselves. Sounds like plain old bullying of the defenseless, if you ask me.

THE LOVELY LUNA... This dear little girl was rescued from "Dog Island" during the Bangkok Floods. She has limited sight, but is a sweet dog & loves people. She's currently living in our Old Age Dog Run, as with her sight problems we feel she'd be more comfortable with the slower, elderly residents. Subsidy For Pelvic-Fractured Cat (Doreen Yam’s)

Sometime last year, our vet told me about this one case of a rescued cat from a factory, possibly needing a diaphragmatic hernia surgery. Our vet asked if we had the funds to help out.
I said I would need to speak with the rescuer and yes, we can contribute a subsidy.
I visited the cat once at the clinic, and the vet said he preferred to observe the cat for a little while more before going in for the surgery.
I did not hear from the rescuer at all….until last week when I found a subsidy fo...

Dr Veeranoot wrote to Majid immediately upon receiving my email and sms. I also wrote to Majid with Dr Veeranoot’s contact details. There has been no response at all from Majid. Dr Veeranoot went to check out the university cafeteria yesterday and saw many cats, but no sick cats in sight.

Today’s Ang Paws Furrez – A Fun-Filled Event!

Mary and I set off from my house at 8.30am this morning. We had already loaded all our stuff into her car the day before so we were all ready. Terry, our navigator, came by and off we went, with Terry leading the way on his motorbike!
Here we are…the Kota Damansara Community Forest.
Wow! Never knew there was such a beautiful place here for mountain bikers and hikers!
Soon, Chooi Chooi and her Casa team arrived.
